Your Weekly Journal Prompt ✍️

Happy Monday Reader, here is your journal prompt for the week:

Am I forcing a decision that is not time to make?

It’s that time of year where we start thinking about what goals/resolutions/changes we want to make in the upcoming year.

Yet, it is also a busy time with holidays, end of year celebrations on top of your normal schedule.

The creates a situation where you might be pushing to make decisions that it is better to wait on.

So, during the busy times focus your journaling on helping you slow down.

Start by creating a list of all the things you are making decisions about. Then ask yourself, is it time to make this decision or can it wait?

You can take this a step further by putting a timeline to when you will make the decision. Do you need to sleep on it? Do you need to wait till January 1? Or maybe you wait till May?

If you are feeling pressured by someone else to make the decision and it isn’t an emergency, ask for time. Very few decisions in life need to be made instantly. In fact, I advise people to slow down when someone is pushing. Make sure you have all the information you need and feel good about making a decision.

Have a great week,

Andrea

Happy Monday, Reader. When life gets busy and emotions run high, it’s easy to slip into a habit of rushing—moving from one thing to the next without taking a moment for ourselves. Over time, this creates a kind of chaotic energy that leaves us feeling off balance. That energy feeds on itself. The more chaotic things feel, the more we rush. The more we rush, the more lost, disoriented, and unlike ourselves we become. Before we know it, we’re vibrating like we’ve had 30 cups of coffee—except...

Journaling prompt

Happy Monday Reader, this week’s journal prompt is to help us explore how we identify ourselves. Who am I if I am not ____? Start by picking an identity that we most align to. Then put that in the blank. From there, I would recommend you do a free write and let the answers just flow. Try not to answer from your mind, but your heart and intuition. Don’t forget to add things that aren’t roles, such as compassionate, loving and supportive. Each day this week you can put in a different identity...
