Summary

This week the guides said that old relationships and situations may come back around to test your healing. To see how far you have come and at the same time, see where you may still need work around healing or releasing old habits.

Their biggest piece of advice? Slow Down!

Only when you slow down can you get the insights you need to fully be done with this situation. It's the slowing down that allows you to see the small parts that might otherwise go unnoticed.

They compared it to being in school and needing to take a final exam to pass the class. Have you learned the lessons, healed it and are fully ready to move on?

At the same time they want you to review decisions you made about your life while you were healing this. What you decided 6 months ago may no longer be relevant to what you want and need today.

As you heal and learn you have to adapt your current life to match the new you.

Exercise from the Guides

  • Name the old situation (there may be more than one.)
  • Review how you healed and the big issues that you faced.
  • Review if what you are doing today has any aspects of what was healed. Are there residual habits or similar relationships that need healed?
    • Decide if you of today still wants that

Slow Down Tips

Instead of reacting immediately ask for time. Or with yourself allow yourself more time than usual. Even if it is just five minutes it allows you to ground and reset your emotions. Allowing you to operate from a relaxed state. Some ideas of what you can do:

  • 5 Minutes of deep breathing. Observing your breath and letting everything else go.
  • 5 Minute body scan to find where you are holding tension, and then release it.
  • 5 Minutes of journaling about your emotions.
  • 5 Minute walk.

  • How do I respond differently today compared to the version of myself from six months ago?
  • Which habits or reactions feel like they belong to an older version of me?
  • What do I do automatically that Iโ€™d choose differently if I paused first?
  • What moments or interactions have triggered me recently, and what might they be pointing to?
  • What choices did I make from fear, urgency, or survival mode?
  • If I were making the same decision today, what would I choose differently?
  • What version of myself am I stepping into as this chapter closes?
