Happy Monday Reader, here is your journal prompt for the week: Where has my thinking been too narrow? How can I expand how I am viewing this? What alternate options are there? Frequently when we try and problem solve, we don’t expand our thinking wide enough. We get stuck in what we are used to or can imagine. But often the answer sits in something we don’t even know or recognize. This week we are going to try to expand our mind to find solutions. Start with creating a list of problems you can’t seem to get past. Then ask which one you have been to closed minded about. This might be tricky as our ego/limiting belief mind will tell us none! If this is the case, pick the problem that is causing the most issues. Using that one problem answer the rest of the questions. I would encourage you to use the same problem each day and redo the two follow-up questions. This will allow your subconscious mind to jump in and help! Each day you may gain new insights that you didn’t think about the day before. When we expand what we are viewing on a regular basis, new options can appear very quickly. Over time, this creates a kind of chaotic energy that leaves us feeling off balance. That energy feeds on itself. The more chaotic things feel, the more we rush. The more we rush, the more lost, disoriented, and unlike ourselves we become. Before we know it, we’re vibrating like we’ve had 30 cups of coffee—except...

Knowing how to meditate, journal or do any other technique for self-discovery, is just part of learning more about yourself. Beyond doing your habits, they need a place to be done! And yes, they can be done anywhere. I have journaled on the side of a creek on a hike, meditated on a plane and created a little space to do my...
Happy Monday Reader, this week’s journal prompt is to help us explore how we identify ourselves. Who am I if I am not ____? Start by picking an identity that we most align to. Then put that in the blank. From there, I would recommend you do a free write and let the answers just flow. Try not to answer from your mind, but your heart and intuition. Don’t forget to add things that aren’t roles, such as compassionate, loving and supportive. Each day this week you can put in a different identity...
