Happy Monday Reader, here is your journal prompt for the week: How can I bring more awareness to my own energy? Personal energy is more than how much physical capacity you have. It also includes the other three bodies – mental, emotional and spiritual. When your energy becomes depleted, or off in anyway then you become less productive and experience reduced happiness. While you can manage your energy through things such as self-care and exercise, there are some energy drains that come out of nowhere. For example, you get an email about a cancellation of an event you were looking forward to. It drains you emotionally. But instead of noticing the shift and fixing it - you keep working. And it is a struggle the rest of the day. You still don’t do anything about it at home and end up with a horrible night’s sleep. Which in turn impacts your physical and mental energy. It can turn into a vicious cycle. What you want to do is identify energy shifts ASAP – so you can repair it and get back to productivity. So, with this week’s prompt take some time to come up with ideas on how you can be aware of energy shifts. Then start to implement those ideas right away. In your next journal session, review how they worked. If they don’t work go back to the original prompt and see if there is something you can add or do to change your awareness. Keep rinsing and repeating this process until you have awareness tools that allow you to quickly notice energy changes and fix them. Have a great week, Andrea P.S. Happy Monday, Reader. When life gets busy and emotions run high, it’s easy to slip into a habit of rushing—moving from one thing to the next without taking a moment for ourselves. Over time, this creates a kind of chaotic energy that leaves us feeling off balance. That energy feeds on itself. The more chaotic things feel, the more we rush. The more we rush, the more lost, disoriented, and unlike ourselves we become. Before we know it, we’re vibrating like we’ve had 30 cups of coffee—except...
When you are ready, I can help! Learn more about working with me: https://andreabelzer.com/work-with-me/ Reader, there is more to doing healing work than just how to do it. Knowing how to meditate, journal or do any other technique for self-discovery, is just part of learning more about yourself. Beyond doing your habits, they need a place to be done! And yes, they can be done anywhere. I have journaled on the side of a creek on a hike, meditated on a plane and created a little space to do my...
Happy Monday Reader, this week’s journal prompt is to help us explore how we identify ourselves. Who am I if I am not ____? Start by picking an identity that we most align to. Then put that in the blank. From there, I would recommend you do a free write and let the answers just flow. Try not to answer from your mind, but your heart and intuition. Don’t forget to add things that aren’t roles, such as compassionate, loving and supportive. Each day this week you can put in a different identity...
